Overview

Two credits of Health & Physical Education are required to graduate from CMASAS.

  • 1 Credit Physical Education

  • 1 Credit Health

CMASAS students have several options to fulfill their Health and Physical Education graduation requirement. Most students take the traditional PE I & II sequence, logging hours of varied activity. Activities could include sports, martial arts, or other fitness-related activities which the student wishes to pursue or in which the student is already involved. Other students who are involved in specific sports they wish to have reflected on their transcript, such as dance, aquatic activities, ski racing, etc. may wish to take custom PE courses reflecting a specific pursuit. All PE courses, whether the standard PE I & II sequence, or specific, customized courses, require students to log 75 hours of activity, provide evidence of activity completion, and complete a final project.
