This is what Jonah did for his Biology Honors project.

For my final science project, I decided to conduct a plant experiment. This whole experiment was based on the fact I wanted to see how water levels would affect the growth of the plant. So when I started this experiment, I got some soil, plastic cups and seeds. It had gone on for 17 days and there was still no sign of plant life. Why? Because I had awful soil. After restarting my experiment I saw plant life in 3 days, and finished my experiment successfully. Really, the lesson of the story is to keep trying. It’s all a part of science- failing and then learning. After growing the basil, maybe I will eat it!

This presentation was created based on a science experimentation/project that I did related to the growth of plants. I wanted to answer the question, "Is sunlight really necessary for plants to grow?" Although the answer is obvious to many people, I wanted to see the process and the result with my own eyes. I placed plants (of the same type) in different locations so that the amount of sunlight given to the plants differ. Over the course of two weeks, I recorded the overall growth of each plant and came to a conclusion.
